Our pastor, Bishop Johnny M. Fields, was called to preach in 1995 at the age of 15 at the Biggs Church of God. He stayed there for 3 years and received the rank of Exhorter on March 3, 1998.
He went on to be youth pastor of the Kimper Church of God from the fall of 1998 to the summer of 2001. In May of 2002 he graduated from Morehead State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration.
He also graduated from MIP June 3, 2002. Once he had completed college
and the MIP he resumed being the youth pastor of the Kimper Church of God. While
at Kimper he received his second rank of ministry, Ordained Minister, on January 6, 2003.
In the fall of 2004, he became the pastor of the Burnwell Church of God. He
pastored there for one year.
He became the pastor of the Freeburn Church of God in September 2005.
In
2008 he received his third rank of ministry, Ordained Bishop.
He is married to Jerrica BreAnn Fields
as of July 17, 2010. He has one daughter, Brenna Marie, who is four years old.
